Focused on the most needy families.

We are making emergency food deliveries to families living within one mile of the supertanker base, who were the most affected by the fires. Please join us by making a gift so we can continue weekly food deliveries for these families. Read below to learn more about some the families we are helping.

The people of Matanzas need our help, and we are responding. With your help, we have delivered over 700 pounds of emergency food assistance to families affected by the fire at the Matanzas Supertanker Base. As is our philosophy, we are focused on the most vulnerable, — families with children, families with disabled children, and seniors living alone or coping with illnesses. Please consider sponsoring a meal to help these very vulnerable families:

Teresa lives with two young daughters. Her husband passed away in 2022. It is almost impossible to find milk for her two daughters, and they face daily blackouts and no access to clean water. The milk and meat we are delivering to her home is a lifeline for this family.

Manuel is in his 70s and lives alone in a very poorly constructed home. He has no family in the U.S. and has been without proper nutrition since the fires began in early August.

Maria is in her 50s and lives with her two aging parents. Her father has Alzheimer’s. There is no medication available for his treatment, and they have been dealing with a severe shortage of food.

Ana is in her 70s and lives alone. Her pension is less than $10 U.S. dollars per month. She has no family support and has been facing malnutrition for more than a month.

Jorge lives with his wife and two young children. They struggle daily with lack of power and access to clean drinking water. The food, milk, rice, and cooking oils we are delivering are a lifeline for this family.
