Arts and Culture
We provide direct support for independent artists, including painters, photographers, writers, bloggers, and film directors. We help support individual artistic projects, as well as help build a network for peer to peer support and collaboration.
We provide food, clothes, medicine, and housing assistance for low-income and vulnerable Cubans, with a focus on women, children and the elderly in rural communities.
We support training and other learning opportunities for young, current or emerging business owners. This work is currently focused on small business owners in the technology, design and restaurant sectors.
We provide financial support to refurbish and repair historically significant buildings, such as churches and synagogues.
We support conservation projects that build scientific collaboration between Cuban, Mexican, and U.S. research institutions working to study and protect marine ecosystems. We also support leadership training and learning opportunities for Cuban marine scientists.
